Similar to the Dirty Pirate groveller the Chipolata has many of the same features only tweaked to provide a more all round summer small to medium surf machine. The flatter entry rocker still remains with just a little more lift in the tail. The volume is thinned out by the chamfered rail and the deck still retains its slight concave under the front foot providing incredible response and super lively feel whilst hiding the still significant volume.
The wide round tail creates the perfect amount of hold and flow through turns in both small and medium sized conditions with the fin configuration still a little further back to provide the pivotoff the tail. The single to double concaves have been mellowed slightly from the DP in order to provide the extra control in bigger surf but still provide enough lift to fly over weaker flatter surf. The chipolatas wide elliptical outline allows for more flow through fast rail to rail surfing in multiple wave conditions. A summer favourite!!
